Warranties backed by Global InsuranceWhen you buy your car from Dorking Service Centre you know that it would have been independently inspected by the RAC but in addition we can offer both warranty cover in the form of Mechanical Breakdown Insurance as well as GAP Insurance from Global Insurance Management.

Platinum Mechanical Breakdown Warranty

This provides cover for the repair or replacement costs, incurred as result of a breakdown. It covers most of the mechanical, electrical and electronic parts of the vehicle that were the manufacturer's original fitment.*

Other benefits include:

  • Hotel expenses up to £100 for overnight accommodation
  • Vehicle hire up to a total of £30 per day for a maximum of 7 days
  • Vehicle recovery up to a maximum of £50
  • If you sell your vehicle, your policy can be transferred to the new owner, assuming the policy is paid in full and you are not selling to a motor trader

    GAP Insurance - Total Loss Protection

    Typically in the event of your car being written off motor insurers will only pay you the current market value of your car at the time of the claim leaving you to find the difference between that and what you originally paid in order to buy a replacement vehicle.

    Total Loss Protection covers you for the difference between the amount your motor insurer pays out in the event of a claim and the nett invoice price you originally paid for your vehicle, up to the maximum agreed on your policy and subject to terms and conditions which are available upon request.

    Original Vehicle Purchase Price: £15,000
    Motor Insurance Company Value: £11,000
    Total Loss GAP Payment: £ 4,000
